Albuquerque, NM – It’s a monumental time for the home team! After just 3 seasons the Duke City Gladiators have clinched the 4th seed in the Champions Indoor Football post season. The Gladiators beat the Dodge City Law 43-22 clinching their first playoff birth since becoming a franchise. “It was a great way to end the regular season…” Head Coach Dominic Bramante said following last Saturday’s win.

The Duke City Gladiators also features multiple standout players on both sides of the ball. On defense, local Albuquerque Line Backer Jayson Serda was number 1 in returns for a touchdown with 2 fumble returns. He also finished the season with 107 tackles. On offense, former UNM Lobo Quarterback Donovan Porterie lead the league in multiple categories. With 2,784 passing yards, Porterie was 1st in CIF. He also finished the year with 60 touchdowns, 249 completions, and 237.6 yards per game.
